Senior Interior Designer

Extremely busy Architecture/ Interior/ Landscape firm is seeking a full time Senior Level Interior Designer. We are currently looking for an experienced residential Interior Designer that is versed in traditional and contemporary interior design. We seek someone who is a team player, self-motivated, enthusiastic, can multi-task and is meticulously organized to join our team. We are located in the Miracle Mile area of Los Angeles. Candidate must be well versed in a number of skills, which include: 10+ years of experience Computer Drafting – Heavy emphasis on custom furniture / interior floorplans & elevations (Revit, AutoCad, Adobe Creative, Sketch up) Familiarity with Studio IT (or similar design management program) Knowledge of resources and fabricators in the Los Angeles design area Position responsibilities include: Schematic and Design Development Budget preparation and management Preparation for client presentations Assist principal in client meetings Sourcing furniture, lighting, plumbing fixtures, hardware and materials Custom furniture design and fabrication Window treatment design and specification Requesting estimates & quotes / generating proposals & purchase orders Overseeing vendors on custom orders Project management and installations Coordination with Junior Designers Coordination with Contractors Knowledge of creating a furniture product line a plus Candidates should be prepared to present a portfolio of work.
