Senior Interior Designer

A Senior Designer at Dunne Kozlowski is responsible for leading, directing, and curating the overall design concepts for their team's projects, ensuring our client's vision becomes a reality. The senior designer must thrive working in a collaborative environment and must be able to delegate tasks to the project team and keep tasks on schedule. Responsibilities • Lead all designs with a high level of expertise, from concept through completion • Develop concepts and design experiences to align with a client's vision • Create an experience, tell a story, and sell a client a design solution • Design to a project budget • Be up-to-date on current trends, styles, products, and technology • Lead the development of presentation packages • Ability to work directly with and receive direction from the Managing Director and execute per direction • Communicate design ideas through sketching • Review drawings and coordinate with internal teams as needed • Teach and mentor junior designers • Assist Procurement Manager with procurement process and ensure profitability • Assist employee reviews • Assist in interviewing for open positions • Assist in developing a detailed project schedule and dashboard • Assist procurement invoicing and billing • Lead overall vendor coordination This full-time role is in Dunne Kozlowski's hybrid studio in Humboldt Park.
