The Senior Interior Designer / Space planner will develop designs, specifications, and prepare construction documents for interior scopes of work of government, military, and commercial aviation facilities. The Interior Designer / Space Planner works directly with the client, manages and mentors junior staff, and assists with integrating interior design concepts with architectural and engineering systems. • Lead a team of junior interior design staff in the development and execution of projects. • Demonstrated knowledge of architectural principles and theory associated with project design and construction document production • Demonstrated knowledge of Interior Design specifications, calculations, industry standards as well as visual, written and oral skills • A National Council for Interior Design Qualifications (NCIDQ Certification) is required.
