**Overview:** We are seeking a motivated Senior Interior Designer to join a fun, friendly team in a luxury residential interior design firm in Chicago. The ideal candidate will blend into the company culture which values integrity, excellence, transparency, inspiration, and forward-thinking. **Responsibilities:** • Place, process, and manage all vendor orders through to completion • Maintain project binders for all items ordered for each project assigned • Prepare floor, space, and furniture plans and elevations in AutoCAD, and produce hand drawings or computer renderings that communicate design intent • Research, source, and price furniture, lighting + antiques that are cohesive to the design aesthetic of the project independently as well as in collaboration with Principal • Partner with team to create and organize client presentations • Prepare for and attend client meetings, including design meetings and project site visits • Prepare and maintain project documentation including master schedules and supplemental backup schedules and specifications • Partner with team to organize and oversee installations • Represent firm at meetings with architects, contractors, and vendors • Oversee/manage issues with contractors, vendors, and clients • Identify and document problems/conflicts and determine solutions • Provide weekly status reports and be prepared to discuss the status of all orders on all projects at weekly staff meetings • *Qualifications:** • 5-10 years of experience in high-end residential design • 4-year degree in Interior Design or Interior Architecture preferred • Proficiency in AutoCAD and Google Applications • Extensive knowledge of fabric, furniture, lighting vendors, etc. * Experience designing, drawing, and producing custom furniture, millwork, and lighting a plus • Ability to prioritize, multitask, and be involved in several projects at once • High level of detail, organization, professionalism, and follow through • Knowledge of Chicago design resources - furniture, fabrics, wallcoverings, vendors, and artisans is a plus • Ability to work both in the Chicago office and remotely independently • Willingness to travel as needed for projects • *Benefits:** • Annual Salary + Bonus Structure + Full Benefits Package • Benefits Package - wellness stipend, PTO (vacation, sick, personal, holidays including paid office closure week between Christmas and New Year), mileage expense reimbursement, and more
