SENIOR INTERIOR DESIGNER (Permanent) Our client, an established local organization in WNY, is seeking a Senior Interior Designer to join their team. This role will also have sales responsibilities. This position is open due to growth. Responsibilities: • Perform daily responsibilities to develop and create office furniture layout designs for clients • Oversee each project from concept throughout its completion to ensure it is created according to client specifications • Maintain effective communication to determine the needs, budget, and preferences for each customer • Assess each site to determine best course of action and potential designs • Act as an owner of the product line, possessing the ability to make educated recommendations to customers • Have a deep understanding of the product specifications and potential limitations in specific spaces in order to design the optimum workspace • Play an active role in sales efforts by offering design/product solutions • Develop positive relationships with clients to anticipate needs, establish trust in your expertise, and ensure a positive sales/design/installation experience • Utilize AutoCAD to design detailed floor plans while ensuring optimum utilization of the space provided • Review financial statements, coordinate design services, and maintain a deep understanding of market trends • Coordinate with suppliers and installers to keep projects on schedule and within budget • Provide regular status updates to clients as well as upper management • Work well independently as well as part of a team • Complete special projects in a timely manner • Other duties as assigned/as necessary Details: • Position is full time, direct hire • Hybrid schedule, 4 days in-office, 1 WFH; with flexibility • Some travel to clients, maybe one trade show / year • $70,000 - $90,000 annually depending on experience, plus bonus & uncapped commission potential • Health Insurance, Generous PTO, 401k match • Bachelor’s degree in Interior Design or related required • 5+ years’ Interior Design experience • Excellent computer skills, specifically Microsoft Office Suite • Proficiency in AutoCAD is required • Great interpersonal and communication skills (written and verbal) • Strong organization skills and time management skills • Strong attention to detail • Self-motivated • Maintain high level of confidentiality • Relocation not available • Candidates must be authorized to work in the United States; Visa sponsorship is not available • All employees and applicants, please know that you have access at all times to New York State and Federal Labor Laws and Posters at the Government Agency websites: https://dol.ny.gov/posting-requirements-0; https://www.dol.gov/general/topics/posters#workplace-posters
