Senior Luxury Residential Interior Designer

SummaryProvide residential interior design services to walk-in clientele within the RH Gallery, developing original designs that reflect the RH design point of view. Build and grow a design business within the gallery by leading projects from initial contact through delivery, meeting clients both in-gallery and in their homes. Serve as a design leader who delivers compelling visual presentations and achieves fiscal goals through design consulting. ResponsibilitiesCreate original residential designs using RH design principles and the RH product assortment.Determine design objectives based on architecture, environment and client lifestyle.Develop floor plans, sketches and visual presentations to communicate design intent.Meet with clients in-gallery and on-site to manage client relationships and expectations.Lead and manage multiple design projects of varying sizes through all phases to delivery.Ensure design projects meet fiscal goals and support gallery sales objectives.Requirements5+ years of interior design experience in a design firm or high-end furniture/luxury retail.Art, Architecture or Interior Design degree preferred and professional portfolio required.Proficiency in AutoCAD, Adobe Creative Suite and space planning/rendering programs; strong graphic and digital presentation skills.Hands-on installation experience and strong artistic/hand-rendering skills preferred.Leadership, business experience and successful project management preferred.Proficiency with Mac OS, Microsoft Office and Google Applications; ability to travel and licensed to drive preferred.Ability to lift/move items up to 25 lbs. and perform sustained physical activity on the gallery floor.
