ship is made of steel no studs, different construction method. • Experience with an ERP system such as SAP is a plus • Proficiency with metric system , (millimeters, kilograms, etc, everything we do is in metrics) • Done field work (ideally on a ship) • Experience with rules: solas, American bereau of shipping • Dealt with customers in a project setting, their customers are the people buying the ship/the inspectors This person will be joining a team of 2 engineers and will focus on shipboard accommodations, joinery equipment, and insulation. The Production Engineer will focus on the architecture and design of the ships interior architecture including but not limited to: living spaces of the vessels, doors, windows, furniture, flooring, wall panels, catering equipment, food service equipment, etc. You will interface with various parties including production, planning, procurement, other engineering departments, design subcontractors, owner, classification society, and about 50% of the time will be in the field and 50% in the office
