We are a high-end luxury furniture brand and multi-line showroom known for offering an inspiring experience by curating showroom spaces in an artful way, reminiscent of a gallery. We represent artisanal lines of textile, lighting, and furniture with the intention of upholding the craft of a bygone era. POSITION PROFILE / The Showroom Director is devoted to cultivating client relationships and creating a memorable experience as they help bring a vision to life. PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBILITIES / \\- Demonstrate a sense of ownership for the Chicago showroom, our represented designers, and our clients \\- Maintain showroom in impeccable condition from cleanliness and maintenance management to consignment placement and feedback \\- Seek new client relationships and nurture existing relationships with consistent follow-up \\- Expert knowledge of the interior design business and the project cycle from specification to orders to installation \\- Motivated seller with a strong desire to embody a brand \\- Manage your outside sales representative(s) that covers outside sales for the entire territory (including Illinois, Indiana, Michigan, Wisconsin, and surrounding areas) \\- Be accountable for territory sales goals \\- Tailor sales materials to create concise and curated presentations for clients \\- Successfully maintain a full calendar of outside sales presentations \\- Conduct organized follow-up for all presentations \\- Develop effective and positive communication with showroom director to ensure both can work in tandem to offer premier client services \\- Drive traffic to showroom \\- Familiar with general contract requirements \\- Be conscious of communication styles and adjust as needed, whether communicating with clients, vendors, colleagues, or ownership \\- Excellent customer service capabilities \\- Be courteous, engaged, and maintain a positive attitude  EXPERIENCE / \\- 3+ plus years of relevant sales and management experience \\- Experience in the luxury interior residential market is a must \\- Excellent written and verbal communication skills \\- Organized, detail oriented, and ability to multi-task \\- Proficient in Microsoft Word/Excel/Outlook \\- Proficient in QuickBooks JOB LOCATION / Chicago, Illinois, United States POSITION TYPE / Full-Time Compensation: Base Salary + Commission + KPI Bonus Great Benefits Package Resume will not be considered without a cover letter /////// We are an Equal Employment opportunity employer.
