Interior Design Firm Seeking Textiles Showroom Manager Part-time: 20 hours with flexibility to work 30 hours as needed Morning shift: 8am-12pm Monday- Friday Essential Duties & Responsibilities: • Responsible for showroom sales and customer service • Create invoices and purchase orders in Quickbooks and Square Up • Answer all interior designer inquiries, providing them with information regarding our products and pricing; manage the ordering process from start to finish • Manage showroom inventory - order and enter new and existing products into Quickbooks and keep the library of wallpaper and fabric samples organized and up to date • Maintain accurate vendor pricing and keep it up to date in Quickbooks • Research existing and prospective clients and reach out to them on all platforms, as well as create custom marketing material • Create design schemes utilizing our vendor products for marketing and appealing to designers • Manage the Instagram account, post daily and organize vendor/designer showcases on IG live • Request products from our vendors, create samples and label them for our library, as well as maintain showroom displays of their work • Schedule and give showroom tours for our interior designers and educate them about our vendors and products • Maintain positive relationships with our internal and external vendors • Create and edit documents in Microsoft Word • Answer emails in a timely manner using multiple Gmail and Google calendar accounts • This position includes but is not limited to the duties listed above To be successful in this role: Experience in Quickbooks is preferred, as well as some administrative duties. A creative background is a plus, or an appreciation for interior design aesthetics. An ability and eagerness to learn new software, communicate clearly and effectively verbal and written, and be detail oriented. Basic math skills are required and the ability to multi-task having multiple projects going at different stages of their life cycle. An ability to remain positive and professional when unexpected issues occur, and to have perseverance to move forward and through them.
