Joseph Wayne Designs brings the best of modern Italian design to the Pacific Northwest. We represent B&B Italia, Cassina, Baxter and Edra, alongside Lodes, Penta and Vibia lighting and GT Design rugs, and we partner with interior designers, architects and discerning homeowners on residential and commercial projects.

The Role

We're looking for our first Showroom Sales & Design Consultant: someone with a genuine eye for design and the drive to build a book of business from the ground up. You'll own retail clients, new design and architecture firms, and commercial projects across Seattle, working from our showroom in Pioneer Square. Start date: January 2027.

What You'll Do

• Manage your quote pipeline daily and follow every project through to close

• Build relationships with interior design and architecture firms new to JWD

• Bring designers and clients into the showroom for presentations, appointments and events

• Prepare tailored product selections and materials for each client and project

• Work closely with ownership on product knowledge, presentation and merchandising

What You Bring

• A strong design sensibility and a clear grasp of modern design, materials and craftsmanship

• A proven record of meeting or beating sales targets, ideally in a commission role

• Self-motivation and a results-driven approach to developing new business

• Confident, engaging interpersonal skills and a polished presence

• Openness to coaching and product guidance

• Interior design training or high-end showroom experience is a strong plus

What We'll Teach You

Our CRM, tools and processes.

Compensation & Time Off

• $25/hour, overtime eligible

• 6% commission on net product sales

• Target total earnings of about $100,000 per year

• 10 days paid vacation, rising to 15 in year two

• 8 paid holidays (6 fixed, plus 2 floating holidays you choose)

• Paid sick leave per Washington law

• Health insurance and 401(k) are not offered at this time; both are goals as we grow
