SmithGroup Design a Better Future Scholarship - Interior Design Internship

The SmithGroup Design a Better Future Scholarship is intended to support the next generation of talent by providing students with academic support and the opportunity to gain professional experience in the design industry. It includes a one-time award of $6,000 to offset tuition at their current academic institution (5 scholarships are awarded each year) and a paid summer internship at a SmithGroup office in the United States. Students who demonstrate a strong commitment to fostering inclusion within their university, community, and/or AEC industry are encouraged to apply. Eligibility: • Applicants must be a current undergraduate (at least a junior level standing) or graduate student in an accredited architecture, interior design, urban planning, landscape architecture or engineering program in the United States. • Applicants must be an enrolled student during the Fall 2026 semester as scholarships are paid directly to the academic institution.
