Social Media Coordinator for Local Interior Design Company

We are currently seeking a highly motivated, creative and energetic Social Media Coordinator to join our growing team. Experience or education in Social Media Marketing is preferred, but not required. Our business is multi-pronged and exciting, and there is no "normal" day. To join this team, you will need to be excited by the unexpected, and be able to move seamlessly between job functions. Job Responsibilities: Conceptualize, plan & capture content for all social media channels Create + manage monthly posting calendar, and optimize calendar based on audience engagement Update + maintain all social brand pages (Instagram, TikTok, Pinterest, Facebook) Oversee online conversations with audience using brand voice Update + maintain referral engine brand pages (Yelp, Houzz, Like2KnowIt) Research audience preferences + new social trends for social networks Manage post boosting + monthly boosting budget Project manage team photo shoots Work with lead designers to plan creative concepts Manage website updates in collaboration with Principal Manage creation + distribution of email blasts Manage blog calendar + ensure timely and consistent updates Procure + manage inventory of marketing swag + gifts Assist in creation of printed brand assets Assist in optimization of paid digital advertising QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS* Bachelor's degree, preferably with a major in social media marketing or a related field Deep understanding of social media & how to develop and grow a social following Insatiable appetite & curiosity for the business of social media & the influencer economy Up to date grasp of current social media trends across platforms Highly creative and capable of consistently producing content on your own Basic understanding of photography and photo editing Knowledge of creative platforms such as Canva, Adobe Polished writing & grammar skills Knowledge of the Interior Design Influencer space a plus Curious and willing to learn new skills Proficient in Google Workspace software (Sheets, Slides, Drive etc.)
