Social Media & Marketing Coordinator

About Us A Body of Work is a unique Pilates, Gyrotonic and Fitness studio located in a beautiful historic building in The Presidio Park. We’re looking for the right person to help us expand our reach as we grow our business nationally and internationally. • Create and promote brand awareness • Generate content for social media and marketing by communicating and engaging with our audience, doing research on our industry, creating videos, taking photographs and writing posts • Write 5 posts a week on social media platforms for 2 separate businesses • Create monthly newsletters • Create weekly blog posts about current fitness trends in Pilates and Gyrotonic • Maintain and update Constant Contact email list • Interact with our followers • Search for events locally, nationally and internationally for our business to partner with • Reach out to local businesses to build relationships • Coordinate print advertising with designer • Edit and post videos and photos for our social media platforms and websites • Update and manage content on our websites • Optimize our visibility with search engines and our rank with Google business • Create brochures and postcards to be distributed • Excellent writing and communication skills • Creative, resourceful and able to follow instructions • Be a good listener and emotionally intelligent • A self-starter who will hit the ground running and be pro-active in all aspects of the job • Ability to organize, prioritize, and fully execute an array of tasks and projects • Ability to meet deadlines • Highly motivated, accountable and detail-oriented • Proficient in Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Publisher • Proficient in Google Docs, Sheets and slides • Proficient in Google analytics • Previous strong experience in business social media and marketing • Proven ability to create and write well-researched, relevant and compelling media and blog posts that are aligned with our business goals • Proven ability to update and manage content on websites (Wix and Squarespace) • Highly knowledgeable and experienced with Zoom, Youtube and Vimeo Job Requirements: • High School diploma • BS in Marketing, Business or relevant field is a strong advantage • Experience and knowledge in Movement instruction – Pilates, Yoga, Fitness or Gyrotonic – is highly preferred • Excellent references • Fluent in all social media platforms • Live in the Bay area and have reliable transportation
