Sr. Interior Designer

An award-winning firm is expanding their interiors team in Austin! They are looking for a designer with 10+ years of experience in commercial hospitality design. This role will enable a seasoned interior designer to grow and learn under a team of professionals, while working collaboratively alongside other team members and partners. The role entails.. • generating design concepts; such as floor plan analysis, visual design concepts and finish selections • Business Development - creating relationships with local partners, as well as expanding the outreach of the team. • Communicating with partners (including: contractors, owners, project managers and consultants) through the project, from schematic design to construction administration • documentation and development of construction documents - and coordinating with MEP requirements • conducting preliminary field surveys to document existing conditions • Coordinate materials and assist in the production of project specifications
