Sr Interior Project Manager

The Senior Interior Project Manager will manage interiors fit out for small to medium project categories that include residential, retail, administrative, academic, dining and event, and athletic buildings and facilities as well as collaborating on major maintenance projects • Represents the University’s interests throughout the design, selection and procurement and implementation process and is responsible for the coordination of the University’s efforts and the communication plan for the project, including users, leadership, stakeholders, and external consultants and contractors. Duties and Responsibilities will be as follows: • Project Programming • Project planning and design • Internal Interiors design review and • Project Governance • Maintaining FF+E (furnishings, finishes + equipment) Design Standards • Risk Management • Project Scheduling and Budgeting • Sourcing, bid and procuring FF+E. Essential Qualifications: • Minimum of 10 years of strong interior design experience with involvement in all phases of the interior design process, including leadership, and can demonstrate creative involvement with strong project and organizational management skills. • Ability to successfully execute multiple projects simultaneously and quickly, maintaining interior design standards, budgets and records, and reporting to team leadership • Strong project management skills including defining scope, preparing and managing project budgets and bringing projects in on schedule. • Basic knowledge of Revit and BIM.
