The selected designer will initially work at our company headquarters in Baltimore, Maryland with the goal of transitioning full-time to our Bowie, Maryland office upon completion of a 1 to 2-year training program.RESPONSIBILITIES• Meet with potential and existing clients to determine space plan requirements• Develop a space plan based on those requirements• Generate pricing drawings to forward to Interior Construction Department to prepare construction estimate• Prepare final set of drawings for construction and permitting purposes• Meet with clients to select finishes• Coordinate planning and construction process with all vendors• Coordination between the Leasing Department and Interior Construction DepartmentJOB QUALIFICATIONS• Bachelor’s Degree in Interior Design• 3-5 years of experience in commercial interiors and tenant development• Strong attention to detail• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills• Demonstrated proficiency in Revit & AutoCAD• Competency in application of commercial building and accessibility codesRegular attendance onsite is an essential function of the job.
