The role of the Interior Designer will include:Programing and Conceptual DesignSchematic Design and Preliminary PricingParticipating in Client presentations and taking meeting minutesDesign DevelopmentFinish SelectionsFinish Specifications and Finish SchedulesFurniture SelectionsCustom Millwork DesignStudio Designer ProcurementProject AdministrationMaintaining open communication with Project Manager to ensure a clear understanding of project expectations, deadlines, budgets and deliverablesCommunicating with consultants and internal/external project team members for project coordinationReviewing and responding to submittals, RFIs, and shop drawingsParticipating in site observation and preparing documentation notes Requirements:Bachelor’s Degree in Interior Design or Architecture Proficiency with AutoCAD, SketchUp, InDesign, MS OfficeProficiency in speaking and writing the English language5 years of experience working for an architecture or interior design firmA flexible and proactive approach to work as part of a teamExcellent communication & organizational skills.
