The Staff Interior Designer - Sustainability Specialist works with clients and project teams to establish and achieve goals related to sustainable building design and construction... • Comply with federal and state high performance and/or sustainable design standards for client projects. • Assist project design and construction teams in compliance with the "Guiding Principles for Sustainable Federal Buildings" and guide projects through associated third-party certification programs. • Assist with developing innovative strategies to improve performance and sustainability in building and construction and provide measurable metrics and help implement best demonstrated practices. • Demonstrated knowledge of Interior Design specifications, calculations, industry standards as well as visual, written and oral skills. • Demonstrated knowledge of architectural principles and theory associated with project design and construction document production.
