Store Manager and Retail Associate Positions

Store Manager - Gjelina Group - Gjusta Goods (Venice) About Gjusta Goods Gjusta Goods is the lifestyle extension of the Gjelina Group and is two doors down from Gjusta in what used to be the bakery's dry goods storage. Our main line of ceramics and linens were designed in-house and are manufactured with local artisans. Responsibilities Gjusta Goods Manager is responsible for executing the Group Partners’ vision for the store. The manager is responsible for keeping clear lines of communication with the accounting team for invoicing and inventory purposes. Responsibilities & Requirements • Ability to establish relationships with customers and tell the story behind the items we make and sell • Organize, clean, and maintain the workspace and related storage areas • Must be a self motivated individual who will take the lead on side work to ensure the store feels fresh and inviting • Ability to learn shipping procedures and fulfill shipping orders • General interest in retail and restaurants • Strong communication skills - in person, on the phone, and via email • Organizational skills and attention to detail • Proficient in the following programs: Google Docs, Shopify and Tradegecko experience is a plus • Responsible for maintaining knowledge of all items in store (care instructions, uses, etc) • Responsible for opening and closing out register and writing nightly reports • Responsible for receiving, unpacking, and logging deliveries Physical Demands/Working Environment: • Able work seated, walking or standing for long periods of time (up to 8 hours) • Must be able to move, pull, carry or lift of up to 40 pounds on occasion and 25 pounds regularly • Able to work in a fast- paced environment • Must be able to seize, grasp, turn and hold objects with hands • Must be able to reach items at varying height levels (on shelves, on ground, etc.)
