Summer Intern - Interior Design

• *TVS is an award-winning architecture and interior design firm headquartered in Atlanta, GA with global project expertise. Our pursuit of excellence was acknowledged by our peers in 2002 when we received the National AIA Firm of the Year award, the 39th recipient of the annual award and the first architectural firm in the South to be so honored. TVS is looking for a talented recent graduate or student intern interior designer to join our team in Atlanta, Georgia as part of our summer internship program. • *Responsibilities** • Performs a variety of assignments requiring the application of standard interior design techniques for small projects or sections of larger projects • Performs design layouts and features, which requires researching, compiling and record of information for assigned project work • Engage and contribute to project opportunities as part of a larger project team • Develop technical and functional skills in related technologies, which may include Adobe Creative Suite, AutoCAD, Bluebeam, Revit, Rhino, Enscape, Sketchup, and other 3D modeling and rendering programs • Participate in professional development activities and initiatives, both inside and outside the firm • Any other duties as assigned • *Qualifications** • Pursuing a degree or have recently graduated with a degree in Interior Design from an accredited college or university • 0-5 years of relevant experience • Demonstrated mastery of the job duties listed above • Ability to work in Revit, Photoshop, Sketch-up, and other rendering programs is preferred • Ability to network within the industry • Knowledge of materials, project design, and introductory knowledge of construction documentation • Effective verbal and written communication skills • Ability to work in a collaborative, professional manner • Ability to problem solve with attention to detail and a desire to learn and mentor • Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines TVS also offers resources and benefits to assist our employees with pursuit of professional licensure and certification.
