The incumbent is the supervisor for the Interior Design Team of the Environmental Management Service. Overall, the incumbent is responsible for two (2) full-time Interior Designers, two (2) Painters, and two (2) Maintenance Workers. • Keep in touch with the status and progress of work, make day-to-day adjustments in accordance with established priorities, and obtain assistance from the Chief, EMS, on problems that may arise, such as backlogs which cannot be disposed of promptly. Telework: VA supports the use of telework as a way to help attract and retain talented individuals in public service, increase worker productivity, and better prepare the agency to operate during emergencies. This position may be authorized for telework.
