As a part-time instructor, you will have the opportunity to share your expertise in interior design with our students. You will teach organized classes primarily in the Interior Design discipline(s) and instruct up to 10 units (part-time) in the assigned discipline. • Planning and completing approved professional development flex activities each semester. A bachelor's degree in interior design or a related field and two years of professional experience or an associate's degree in interior design or a related field and six years of professional experience are minimum qualifications. Desired qualifications include experience in teaching postsecondary courses in interior design, demonstrated ability to adapt teaching strategies and techniques to different levels of students' abilities and learning styles, and interest in or knowledge of teaching online and other distance education courses.
