Teaching Positions for Interior Design Faculty

The San Joaquin Delta College is seeking experienced and qualified adjunct faculty members to teach interior design courses. As an adjunct professor, you will be responsible for teaching up to 10 units per semester in the interior design discipline, maintaining expertise in current teaching methods and technology, and evaluating student progress. To be eligible for this position, you must have a bachelor's degree in interior design or a related field and two years of professional experience, or an associate's degree in interior design or a related field and six years of professional experience. We are looking for candidates who possess excellent communication skills, are sensitive to diverse backgrounds, and have experience in using Chief Architect software. • Instruct courses in interior design in accordance with credit course outlines approved by the Board of Trustees • Maintain expertise in current teaching methods and technologies • Evaluate student progress and provide feedback • Participate in departmental processes for curriculum review and assessment of student learning outcomes • Support the division dean in coordinating educational programs with community needs
