Technical Designer

WATG is hiring a Technical Designer for our office in Atlantic City. The Technical Designer is part of the design team from the beginning and assists in selecting materials and systems, design resolution of details, specification writing, building code compliance, and quality control review of documents. Provides architectural drafting support on all phases of a projectAssures efficient preparation of detailed drawings through schematic design and design development to construction document phases on assigned projectsInterprets verbal and written directions from project leaders into professionally completed documents or productsUnderstands and applies technical standards to drafting assignmentsCompletes working drawings, design sketches, presentation drawings, shop drawings, diagrams, schedules, and other computer-generated or drafted documents from prepared drawings as required by the project
