What You Will Do Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Architecture, Interior Architecture or Interior Design from an accredited program 4-8 years of relevant experience with interior architecture / interior design, inclusive of 1+ years of workplace/office space interior design (please highlight this experience in your portfolio and/or resume)Proficiency with Revit, SketchUp, and AutoCADProficiency with 3-D, Enscape, VRay, Grasshopper, Rhino or other visualization software is preferredKnowledge of Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, and/or SPEXX is a plus Working knowledge of building codes, standards, building construction, and building structures Hand rendering skills to communicate design concepts are a plus Outstanding conceptual 3-dimensional thinking and graphic presentation skills to effectively communicate design ideas Flexibility to focus on concurrent projects in various stages of development Ability to communicate design ideas and direction A quick learner with an ability to thrive in a fast-paced work environment Strong leadership, organization, communication and relationship management skills Licensed Architect and/or NCIDQ certification are strongly preferredLEED accreditation is a plus Demonstrated commitment to sustainability and sustainable building practices; If possible, portfolios should include at least one project (especially built projects with LEED, Living Building Challenge, WELL Building Standard, Fitwel, and/or Net Zero Building certification) with this particular focus, which we look forward to discussing during the interview At Gensler, we are as committed to enjoying life as we are to delivering best-in-class design.
