Visiting Assistant Professor, Interior Architecture & Design

Summary: The College of Arts and Sciences at Queens University of Charlotte invites applications for a visiting faculty position in Interior Architecture and Design. This is a full-time, one-year position that begins in August 2026 with the possibility of renewal. Applicants must hold at least one degree in Interior Design and an appropriate terminal degree.Candidates should demonstrate evidence of effective university-level teaching or related experience in a comparable professional setting.Applicants must show evidence of professional practice experience in interiors, substantiated through a professional portfolio and hold NCIDQ certification (or be eligible to complete certification).Commitment to cultivating learning environments that foster a sense of belonging for all students.Knowledge and professional practice in REVIT, Sketchup, Enscape, AutoCAD, and the Adobe Suite.
