We are looking for a Shop Assistant Manager to join our team and help us achieve our goals - offering the best selection of secondhand items in an inviting, easy to shop space and sourcing for unique consignment items. OUR MISSION Arcadian Co. will strive to serve our community, customers and consignors by offering competitive prices, quality products, outstanding service and a fun shopping experience. We will maintain a professional, yet casual approach to purchasing or consigning home goods, antiques, vintage, jewelry and clothing. Purpose: The Shop Assistant Manager is responsible for appropriately representing the Arcadian Co. brand in a manner that positively represents our company's products, sales, and service. • Help assemble and display showroom inventory (rare occurrence) • Be alert for shoplifting activity • Understanding of the flow of merchandise into the store, onto the floor and out the door with the customer and/or consignor • Commitment to and pride in a job very well done • Focus on needs of others, which include cooperation with team members, helpfulness, responsiveness, and service orientation • Strong work ethic including integrity and willingness to work hard • All other duties as needed Qualifications: • Work independently or as part of a collaborative sales team • Proven ability to develop successful customer relationships and close sales • Ability to work Saturdays Requirements: • High School Diploma or equivalent • Associate’s Degree in Marketing or Design/Retailing helpful not required • 1+ years’ experience in a retail sales or customer service environment • Interior Design, Home Staging or other Shop Merchandising very helpful Job Type: Part-Time w/ opportunity to go Full-Time Pay: TBD upon experience Benefits: • Flexible schedule • Fun, energetic, clean, organized work environment • Awesome customers and consignors • A space to use your creativity • Possibility to move into Full-Time Shop Manager role Schedule: • 4-7 hour shifts (Tuesday-Saturday) • Weekend availability
