Woven Design Assistant – Hickory, NC The Woven Design Assistant will collaborate closely with the design team throughout the full product development cycle from initial concept through launch, across all collections. Key Responsibilities Product Development & Administrative Support • Manage ongoing correspondence with overseas vendors • Partner with vendors on sampling, revisions, testing, costing, and mill specifications • Organize and maintain product development samples and color materials for collections • Create setup documents, standards, measurements, checklists, and spec sheets for new collections • Serve as a design liaison between internal departments • Scan purchased artwork and process invoices • Support custom projects by labeling, cutting, and organizing samples as needed Design Support • Attend relevant vendor appointments • Participate in internal design meetings and communicate key information to external teams when required • Assist in the design of woven patterns for collections and customer-specific projects • Execute color work for patterns and communicate direction clearly to vendors
