Art Coordinator

We’re looking for a full time, Art Coordinator with a background in fine art, illustration, interior design, or architecture. You will be working directly with our art consultants and art director to help concept new ideas, source artists, negotiate artist contracts and more. - Review the design narrative and scope of a new commercial project/property - Brainstorm artwork concepts (2D & sculptural) with the art team regarding artwork to create in house - Source and contact artists, historical societies, and/or archives local to the property - Send artist/image licensing contracts, manage artist communication, update imagery database - Create an art proposal specific and custom to the property - everything from outside artists to artworks by our own creative team; framed prints, sculptural works, historical documents, vintage objects - Assist on creating artwork specifications, including framing design, artist costing / commissions, and artwork selections (in conjunction with our project management, digital art, and fabrication teams) - Assist with the Artist in Residence program; exhibition & programming - Source new artists, artworks, and ideas - Curate collections of available works for each project - Onboard new artists into our digital archive of available artwork - Maintain artist communication and manage artist contracts - Work with our art department to conceive and create artwork and design solutions - Prepare and present inspiring proposals (Indesign + Acrobat + Photoshop) - Direct and manage artist commissions - Collaborate with our art, design, project management, and fabrication teams to facilitate project solutions - Assist with AIR Exhibitions & Programming (artist bios, labels, marketing materials, social media)
