Progress Manager - Interior Design Firm

Our busy, but intimate, design studio typically has 10+ active projects at any given time, including both new construction and renovation. An ideal candidate has previous experience as a documentation project manager in an interior design or architectural setting, or at minimum a background in interior architecture/architecture documentation and management experience. SR/A embraces a hybrid work environment with our team working both remotely and in our Chevy Chase studio. Responsibilities will include: Developing and implementing project documentation schedule to ensure our team is meeting client and consultant deadlines, while keeping internal workload manageable, including: Outlining of documentation and/or design tasks necessary to meet each deadline Coordination and delegation of tasks, alongside managers, to ensure each step in documentation and design process is covered Developing internal check-points Firmly enforcing task deadlines for staff Verifying the progress of tasks (will require use of Revit/CAD) and providing updates to senior leadership, as needed Verifying the completion of documentation and/or design tasks and timely submittal of client deliverables Ensuring coordination between design and documentation teams, including that all design decisions are reflected in current documentation and any changes from a consultant or coordination meeting are reflected in both design and documentation. Participation in all project-related meetings – including coordination with consultants, client presentations, etc.
