Project Architect/Project Manager

Ravatt, Albrecht & Associates, Inc. (RA) is a Central Coast multi-disciplinary A/E firm founded in 1999. This individual will be expected to work with other licensed architects, designers, engineers, military personnel, non-profit leadership, and business owners. Some travel may be required. Role and Responsibilities: • Project management • Coaching and supervision of A/E staff • Perform project startup items such as project-specific items and submittals • Coordination with consultants • Understanding of construction drawings and specifications • Process RFPs, RFIs, and Change Orders • Prepare, update, and manage project schedules • Monthly project billing preparation • Provide weekly project reports to the Principal Architect • Travel to and attend project and consultant meetings to support the project • Construction administration • Design presentations and interviews • Building and maintaining positive client relationships Required Qualifications: • 5+ years of project management experience on large design-build facilities • Bachelor's or master’s degree in Architecture • California state license • Direct experience working with multi-discipline project production teams • Vast knowledge of multi-discipline design development and construction documents • Ability to prepare drawings and details • Knowledge of BIM modeling and BIM processes on large projects • Experience with AutoCAD, Revit, Adobe Creative Suite, Microsoft Office • Knowledge of California Building Code and other locally enforced codes and ordinances • Ability to perform code and regulation research • U.S. citizen (preference given to local candidates) • Experience and/or interest in sustainable design/LEED desired but not required Desired Skills: • Able to prioritize workload and consistently meet deadlines while changing tasks and responsibilities • Well organized, flexible, and detail- oriented • Highly motivated with positive attitude • Excellent design skills • Creative problem solver • Ability to work independently as well as on a team • Excellent written and oral communication Benefits of RA: • Competitive compensation • Balanced work/life culture • Flexible work schedules • Remote work arrangements • 100% paid health premiums, including medical/dental/vision • Employer matched 401K plan • Paid vacation and holidays Interested and qualified candidates who meet the above requirements are encouraged to email their cover letter, resume, and online portfolio with "resume" in the subject line to: abussone@RAArchitectsEngineers.com.
